Sendai virus strain Cantell is propagated in SPF chicken embryonated eggs. This strain was deposited by the Central Public Health Laboratory, Helsinki, Finland. This product is whole-genome sequenced and is widely used for induction of interferon and cell fusion. It also has applications in infectious and respiratory disease research.
